The core area of Banks Techni-Cooler is much thicker, with 27% more volume for tremendous cooling capacity. Bigger, high-efficiency, all-aluminum end tanks optimize airflow and hold up much better under extreme boosting conditions. Air density is increased, improves power output and keeps EGT's lower. Banks' huge 3.5 inch boost tubes are streamlined, with no kinks or smashed areas: mandrel-bending keeps the air flowing through with a minimum of pressure loss. Part three of the Techni-Cooler sytem is Banks' High-Ram Intake. With it's impressive size and less restrictive shape, it does a far better job than the tiny stock intake of flowing cool, dense air into the engine.
